4-7 September - Silloth Music & Ale Festival

13 September - Westmorland County Show
Annual showcase for all things agricultural, including Cumberland & Westmorland wrestling, marquees, 350 trade stands, Countryside pursuits exhibition.
20 September - Egremont Crab Fair & Sports, Egremont
Includes the World Gurning Championship.
26 September - 12 October - FRED
Annual Art invasion of Cumbria. Europe's largest annual festival of site-specific art features artists from around the globe, creating new work in England's most spectacular landscapes.
27 September - Eskdale Show
Classic Country Show held amongst the stunning Eskdale Fells. Sheep, terriers, foxhounds, hound trails, sports etc.
4-7 October - Paddington Bear 50th Birthday Party, Ravenglass
Special party at the home of the famous Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway.
27 October- 2 November, Halloween Week, Ravenglass
A whole week of spine-tingling entertainment at Muncaster Castle, Ravenglass.
