Bush Cottage is a traditional terraced, stone built farm workers cottage, which has been recently refurbished. It offers a high standard of accommodation for those seeking a peaceful retreat within a small village setting. The cottage retains some of its original features.

      The cosy living room is comfortably furnished, has a wood burning stove as its focal point, and includes a Freeview TV, DVD and video. The dining room/ kitchen area has been fitted out to a modern high standard, with a wood effect floor, a large pine dining table and chairs for 4 people, a dishwasher, washer/ dryer, microwave, electric oven/grill, ceramic hob and integrated fridge with ice box. There is a radio/CD/tape player in the dining area. Plenty of storage space is provided in a large understairs cupboard.

 

     The stairway leads from the living room to a double bedroom, with views to the Solway coast, a twin bedroom with travel cot, and a modern bathroom complete with bath, and electric shower. However, the staircase is fairly steep and may be unsuitable for very young children and the elderly.

    The cottage has its own sunny secluded garden in which to relax, with flowers and shrubs, a lawn, a patio area, barbecue, outdoor furniture and parasol. The cottage benefits from fully controllable oil fired central heating; all fuel (logs, coal, electricity, oil) is included in the rental price. Towels, bedding and table linen are also included.

        There is parking space outside the front of the cottage.
