Introduction
Bush Cottage is situated in a traditional terrace of houses within the
Pre-Arrival
We have a web site which includes an availability calendar, a gallery of photos, a list of local events and attractions, prices, booking form, terms & conditions, and a Guests comments page.
Bookings and enquiries can be made by post, telephone or email.
We can provide information in large print on request.
The nearest bus stop is outside the premises, with buses running regularly to & from Cockermouth, the nearest town 3 miles away.
The nearest train station (Maryport) is 6 miles away, but has no accessible taxi services.
RADAR toilets are available in 4 locations in Cockermouth.
Accessible taxis available from Workington & Wigton.
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
Parking is located on the street outside the front of the cottage. There is a kerb 15cm high; the pavement is leveled tarmac.
Main Entrance & Reception
The front door is hinged left, opens inwards and is 75cm wide.
The keyhole is 83cm from the ground; the threshold is 5cm high.
The door opens straight into the living room, where there is a door mat.

Short pile carpets throughout, apart from dining room and kitchen which is laminate.
Smoke alarms fitted downstairs and upstairs.
Stairs and Landing-
Stairs accessed from living room through door, hinged right, width 80cm
Staircase 82cm wide, carpeted with looped pile carpet, turning 90° with 12 steps, 22cm high, 20cm deep, up to the landing 77cm wide. Handrail on right hand side.
Landing has three doors off- two bedrooms and bathroom, with 90° turn.
Shower switch 170cm high.
